FAQ

While studying for a Bachelor's or Master's (with restrictions) degree at the ETH, enthusiastic, good students have the opportunity to spend one or two semesters at another university and to credit their work towards their study programme at the ETH after consultation with the appropriate professors at the ETH. Prior to embarking on an exchange programme, students are required to produce a study plan that has to be approved by the degree programme student exchange advisor.

All the important information can be found on the Student Exchange Office page of the ETH Zurich.

An internship is not mandatory in the Civil Engineering degree programme. However, students are recommended to acquaint themselves with the practical nature of the work either on a construction site or in a project design office. It is the responsibility of students to find an internship position. More information (available only in German)

Financing of the degree course is essentially a matter for students and their families. However, should the student's own funds prove insufficient, the student can then apply for a scholarship. You can find more information here.
