Details

Students are introduced to fundamental technical methodology in environmental engineering in the Environment and Computer Laboratory. Students refine their experimental working methods and discuss measurement and analysis methodology and software applications.

The course units and Computer Laboratory I and II form a year course.

Students have passed the 2-semester course if:

  1. The minimum weighted average of the partial grades obtained in the autumn and spring semester is 4; and
  2. All ungraded performances have been scored as "passed".

The Master's degree programme is only partially suited to study abroad or at the EPFL and can be restricted depending on previous education.

It is generally not possible to attend courses in specialisations and in the Subject and Computer Laboratory at another university institution of higher education.

There is no mandatory internship in the Master's degree programme in Environmental Engineering. However, students are actively encouraged to arrange an internship during their studies in order to better understand the relationship to professional practice.

Apply early and be aware that the companies also need time to organise a work permit for foreign students. Give at least 4 to 5 month for the entire process.
