Elizaveta Pustovgar has won an award for the best video promoting her research presentation at the American Ceramic Society meeting in July.
Elizaveta Pustovgar, a Ph.D. student of Prof. Flatt's research group has won award for the best YouTube video promoting her research presentation under the title «Understanding silicate hydration from quantitative analyses of hydrating tricalcium silicates» at the American Ceramic Society meeting (ACerS), 7th Advances in Cement-Based Materials at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois (July 10-13, 2016).
The video generated high excitement and interest among cement industry professionals and attracted many people to attend the talk.
