September Spotlight Seminar Series: focus on environmental engineering challenges
The GDK was proud to welcome Dr. Anne van Loon (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Netherlands) and Dr. Isabella Schalko (ETH Zurich and MIT, USA) to ETH Hönggerberg for a Spotlight Seminar Series event on September 27th.
D-BAUG department head Prof. Ioannis Anastasopoulos gave a welcome address, next came the seminars on droughts and wood in rivers, and the event ended with a panel discussion led by Akanksha Jain. Prof. Peter Molnar from the Institute of Environmental Engineering introduced the speakers and moderated the event throughout the evening.
