November Spotlight Seminar Series: focus on civil engineering challenges

D-BAUG department head Prof. Ioannis Anastasopoulos gave a welcome address. The expert seminars on "The future of mobility: the quest for smart and sustainable transportation systems" and "Seismic and blast loading on underground structures" were followed by a lively panel discussion moderated by D-BAUG doctoral students Simone Alber and Shaimaa El Baklish, along with MSc student Camille Heinz. The invited speakers were hosted by the Institutes of Transport Planning and Systems (IVT) and Geotechnical Engineering (IGT).
