Concrete canoe launch

The concrete canoe regatta takes place every other year in Germany. Students from all over Europe compete against one another with boats they have designed. Following their successes over the past two competitions, two teams from the Institute for Construction Materials of ETH Zurich set themselves ambitious targets once again this year. In collaboration with the Chair of Architecture and Digital Manufacturing, they manufactured their canoes for the first time using digital manufacturing technologies, and have set their sights on first prize in the ‘Construction’ category. You are cordially invited to the launch of the two concrete canoes, Queen ElisamEshTH and S2D2 at ETH Zurich (Hönggerberg).
