Innovation prize for the European forestry and timber industry
The Schweighofer Innovation Prize external pagewww.schweighofer-prize.org is Europe’s biggest timber innovation prize and is awarded to 5 projects and one individual every other year.
A wonderful surprise awaited us at the award ceremony in Vienna. In the presence of around 700 international guests from 40 countries, the Swiss hardwood project from ETH Zurich (HoNR = ETH House of Natural Resources) won an award as an outstanding innovative and pioneering project. A major triumph for Switzerland and in particular for Prof. Dr. Andrea Frangi, IBK.
