Student association

The GESO student association represents the students of the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in Environmental Engineering, Geospatial Engineering, Geomatics and Spatial Development and Infrastructure Systems vis-à-vis the department and VSETH.

The GESO offers various services during the course of study, such as collections of papers or information about lectures, and organises social events such as excursions, lectures and parties.

It is also possible to participate in student politics within the scope of the GESO. Students at D-BAUG have a regulated say in the teaching commission, which is made up of an equal number of lecturers, assistants and students, and in the department conference. The teaching commission deals with tasks such as the preparation of revisions to the programme regulations, the approval of examination arrangements, proposals and suggestions for the improvement of the study programme and much more.
