Tutor system

At the beginning of the course, each student will be assigned to a tutor from the professorate. The students may state their preferences. They will receive further information on this at the beginning of the semester.

Once tutor allocation has been announced, students make an appointment to meet with their tutor. In preparation for this discussion, students create a personal curriculum that includes the planned core and complementary electives for the entire duration of the course.

During the meeting with their tutor, the student's interests, talents, and expectations are discussed and the personal curriculum consolidated. The curriculum is then signed by the student and tutor and dropped into the mailbox in front of the Study Administration Office by the end of the second week of the term.

The purpose of creating a personal curriculum is to assist students in choosing courses and to ensure that the programme is goal-oriented. However, the courses chosen are not binding and can be adjusted if personal interests or course offerings change. Such adjustments do not require the tutor's consent.
