Master's thesis

The Master's thesis concludes the Master’s degree programme. It is a demonstration of the students’ ability to work independently, and in a structured and scientific manner.

Conditions for the admission of students for a Master’s thesis are:

  • Successful completion of Bachelor’s degree studies
  • Compliance with all requirements for admission to the Master‘s degree programme in Spatial Development and Infrastructure Systems
  • At least 90 credits gained in the Master's degree programme, including the required credits for compulsory subjects and for interdisciplinary project work

The Master's thesis is supervised by a professor. The students discuss the topic with their tutor and the supervising professor. The Master's thesis takes sixteen weeks. The current issue and submission deadlines (including holidays and public holidays) are published at dates and events.

24 credits will be awarded for a successfully completed Master’s thesis.
